The B4I consortium, consisting primarily of the NCC for MATCA consortium members, has managed to succeed in a call for Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH); in 2021, the innovation centre will begin the construction of its building in Dolní Břežany. Following DIH, the B4I joined the EDIH call, and, in the year 2021, it was announced as the winner of the national stage.
Brain4Industry (B4I) concentrates on the digitalisation of small and medium enterprises and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in manufacturing processes. In addition to this, it offers expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies. Their specialisation mainly includes areas such as additive, plasma and laser technologies; surface modification and structuring, mathematical simulations and computing methods; topologically optimized products; the development of innovative virtual management systems; certified manufacturing and testing process. The consortium also plans to build an innovation centre, including a testing facility.
The entire platform will be shared with the NCC for MATCA to expand the range of the provided services and, consequently, to acquire a broader portfolio of industrial partners.
