The topic of the conference called Electroceramics for End-users X was the latest research and development of electroactive ceramics and devices, with emphasis placed on piezoelektric applications. The international conference brought together participants from industry and academia, creating an opportunity for networking and discussion.
The program of the conference consisted of lectures and presentations by speakers selected based on pre-submitted abstracts. The lectures were accompanied by presentations with posters, which offered another opportunity for discussion.
The conference was attended by 70 participants from 17 countries, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the US.
One day before the conference took place (27 January) a Winter School was held focused on the processing of ferroelectrics (topics: chemical solution deposition and inkjet printing; the elaboration process of piezoelectric ceramic materials and the piezoelectric, elastic and dielectric characterization of ferro-piezoelectric ceramics).
