There are altogether 24 academic and industrial facilities across different parts of the Czech Republic participating in the NCC for MATCA that share a common interest in advanced technologies R&D.
Thanks to the success in the public competition of the Program of the National Center of Competence (2022), announced by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR) we continue on providing very perspective cooperation and applied research at NCC MATCA 2, which has successfully expanded to include 4 other partners (Institute for Hydrodynamics of the CAS, v. v. i., SHM, s. r. o., ad-tech s.r.o. and Advanced Metal Powders s.r.o.)

Advanced Metal Powders s.r.o. operates a metallurgical plasma furnace enabling the production and recycling of non-ferrous metals and their alloys, especially metals difficult to melt (Ti, Ni, Nb, Zr, Ta, W). AMP operates metal atomization technology and is capable of producing metal powders between 20 and 120 micrometers with a sphericity of 0.97. The company is also able to produce powders from pure metals such as Zr, Mo, Ta, Ti – or their alloys. In cooperation with partners, they are able to create further materials and supply sheets, profiles, rods, wires.
The services offered by the company include laboratory services (digital microscope with image analysis, electron microscope, chemical composition analyzer, powder morphology), 3D metal printing and consulting with topological optimization, 3D scanning and consulting, as well as custom alloy production, non-ferrous processing. scrap metal.
