There are altogether 24 academic and industrial facilities across different parts of the Czech Republic participating in the NCC for MATCA that share a common interest in advanced technologies R&D.

Thanks to the success in the public competition of the Program of the National Center of Competence (2022), announced by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR) we continue on providing very perspective cooperation and applied research at NCC MATCA 2, which has successfully expanded to include 4 other partners (Institute for Hydrodynamics of the CAS, v. v. i., SHM, s. r. o., ad-tech s.r.o. and Advanced Metal Powders s.r.o.)

CENTRE FOR HYDRAULIC RESEARCH spol. s r.o. is part of the SIGMA Group and specializes in hydraulic research of liquids and gases and the development of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic machines. Its research is focused on hydraulic design of pump parts, numerical simulation of liquids and shape optimizations. The Centre’s research activities also include experimental measurements and a chemical laboratory. It concentrates on collecting and providing scientific and technical information as part of their training and educational activities in hydraulics, and during testing, measuring and analysing test results.

The Centre for Hydraulic Research conducts contractual and collaborative research projects funded from public resources, working on national and international level. This organisation’s main activities involve ensuring effective participation in basic research projects implemented by research and academic institutions, university students and industrial specialists on hydraulics.
